Speaking exclusively with People magazine, a rep for screen-siren Jessica Alba has reportedly announced the starlets pregnancy in a breaking news item. Reliable sources confirm the 26-year-old star of upcoming flicks such as Sisters, The Eye and The Love Guru is in the early stages of pregnancy to long-time boyfriend Cash Warren, 28. Despite persisting break-up rumors, the couple have proved they are very much on and have been spotted in public  acting very affectionately, Jessica Alba even recently spotted buying baby products.

Before announcing the pregnancy, Jessica Alba had revealed plans to extend her resume to broadway, however some are now deliberating how the news of pregnancy will affect the young actress’ upcoming roles.

I guess they will just have to work a pregnancy into the script. I’ve read the plot synopsis for most of her coming projects and I don’t know how Sin City 2 or Sisters will work with a pregnant Alba, but stranger things have happened.

People Magazine reportedly grabbed the exclusive, suspected to be a move on Jessica Alba and Cash Warren’s behalf to “avoid pregnancy rumors and “is she or isn’t she?” pictures. It’s out in the open and Jessica won’t have to stress about the media. She wants her child to be healthy, so she must be carefree.” Reveals a friend.
