The nominees for this year’s Golden Globe Awards were announced in LA. And the young actress Hayden Panettiere, along with Ryan Reynolds and Quentin Tarantino, announced the categories and nominees for the 65th annual ceremony, which will take place on January 13, 2008. Nominations were announced in 25 categories. NBC will telecast the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards live from the Beverly Hilton beginning at 8 PM ET.
The awards are voted on by members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and are viewed as an indicator of possible Oscar winners. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association “is a group of Southern California based international journalists,” who started the awards over 60 years ago.
