We haven’t heard for a while from Colombian beauty Shakira, it seems she was attendance for the “Love in the Time of Cholera” premiere recently in Hollywood. The press couldn’t miss the chance to chat with her about her personal life and future plans. Shakira and her fiancĂ©e, Argentine lawyer Antonio de la Rua And have been engaged for over six years now, and she is not thinking of getting married any time soon. Although love is the first priority in her life, Shakira doesn’t want, in a way, to destroy what they have right now by making the next step and get married.

We’ll get married eventually, or we won’t, but we’re together and that’s what matters. We love each other and we want to stay like that. Why fix something that’s not broken?

Love is my primary nourishment. I think that nothing else in life, not even your career or music — well, what I’m saying is a bold statement — I think that nothing can substitute love as the propelling force of everyone’s lives. It’s number one on my list of priorities, of course.”
