According to a recent report, Kanye West’s mother dies after cosmetic surgery. Dr. Donda West died at the age of 58 in Los Angeles on Saturday and her publicist Patricia Green claimed her death was “the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure”. Kanye’s family asks for privacy in this sad moment in their life.
Donda - who raised her son alone after her husband left her when Kanye was three - managed Kanye’s businesses and educational foundation and in May this year, she published a book Raising Kanye: Life Lessons from the Mother of a Hip Hop Superstar. She was also the former chairwoman of Chicago State University’s English department.
