Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry win big at American Music Awards

Carrie Underwood

Last night at the American Music Awards which was held at the Nokia Theatre, American Idols Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry took home a lot of trophies and were surprised and overwhelmed by the honors. Carrie took home three AMA awards Favorite Female Country Artist, Favorite Country Album, and got the nod in the T-Mobile text-in vote, while Chris Daughtry, got awards for Favorite Pop-Rock Album, Breakthrough Artist, and Adult Contemporary Artist on Sunday. The surprise part is that Chris beat out Justin Timberlake for Favorite Pop-Rock Album.

The show [Idol] didn’t make me who I am. It just gave me a chance to show everybody else who I am.

I really like Carrie Underwood’s latest video – Undo It. Miraculous that carrie was unheard of merely a couple of years ago.
