New York’s fabulous tradition at Rockefeller Plaza is a special time every year this time around. The 84-foot-tall Norway spruce was made eco-friendly this year and was overed with five miles of wire. The fantastic Rockefeller Christmas tree has 30,000 LED lights and two days ago Mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg was joined by the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes for the switch that lighted the Christmas tree.
The event included appearances of Nick Lachey, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Natasha Bedingfield, Sean Kingston, Taylor Swift, Tony Bennett, Josh Groban, and Ashley Tisdale.
