According to reports Jennifer Armour filed again a lawsuit against Beyonce claiming she copied lines and upbeats from the former’s song ‘Got a Little Bit of Love for You’ for her track ‘Baby Boy’. As a recall in 2005 the R&B Celebrity Beyonce was sued by a Minneapolis singer-songwriter Jennifer Armour, claiming the same thing, insisting Jennifer Armour former manager submitted demo recordings of her song to various studios including Columbia Records and Atlantic Recording Corporations, record labels for the R&B Celebrity Beyonce Knowles and Sean Paul. At that time the judge has dismissed the copyright infringement lawsuit and the court conclusion was that the song is “substantially dissimilar”. What’s different this time?
Recently Armour’s attorney Dana Kirk reportedly said that the case should be resurrected since a jury hearing was not conducted and also that an expert analysis shows that Beyonce Knowles’ upbeat ‘Baby Boy’ had similarities with her client’s demo.
