The talented jazz singer Amy Winehouse is currently banned from entering USA. Amy’s father Mitch claims that his troubled daughter was fooled into signing a drug possession confession in Norway and because of it now she cannot get into the USA. It seems that without getting legal advice, Amy Winehouse easily gave her signature without knowing what she was signing. Forget about legal advice, didn’t she read what she was signing? Anyway, they are trying to lift the ban, but what are the odds right now?
It (the marijuana) didn’t belong to her, it belonged to someone else on the tour. They arrested Blake, Amy and the person who was responsible. They only released them after they signed a form, which they were told was a release form. It was actually a confession, so this is being dealt with now by the Norwegian authorities and the British consulate because the ramifications of that are that she now can’t get into the States and she was meant to go next week.
