We haven’t heard from Shakira for a while now, due to her university pursuit which was the main reason for missing the red carpet events. The Pop Celebrity, unlike other celebrities, spent the entire summer studying the History of Western Civilization at the University of California, Los Angeles, and she is very happy about it. It’s good to see that there are celebrities who have different priorities, not going to parties or clubs every single night. Shakira is actually doing something smart, she is combining her music career and with her education. The marriage rumors were denied by her rep who said the singer isn’t interested in right now in getting married.
While everyone else has been at the beach, the MTV Awards and the Emmys, Shakira’s been studying History of Western Civilization all summer at UCLA.
