The Hip-Hop mogul Jay-Z has recently announced that he’s will release a new album after just one year since he launched his comeback release, named Kingdom Come (which sold 1.5 million copies). According to the press, Jay-Z reportedly said his main inspiration for the new album came when he watched Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe’s new movie, American Gangster. It seems Jay-Z has already recorded nine songs inspired by the movie for his unofficial soundtrack. The surprised music project is set on November 6 and will reportedly be called ‘American Gangster.’ American Gangster is a movie directed by Ridley Scott and is due out in theaters on November 2.
It immediately clicked with me! I was watching the film, and putting it on pause, and giving a backstory to the story.
