According to the press, Hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas will hold a benefit concert in Mexico Friday night to raise money for local children who can’t afford a decent education. The group decided that proceeds from the concert will fund educational programs for 1,500 children and they couldn’t be more happy to give (as usual) a helping hand. Black Eyed Peas members really hope to work with celebrities such as Shakira, Mana, Joan Sebastian, Alejandro Fernandez, Molotov or Los Tigres del Norte in the future.
In other Celebrity news, one of the most popular alternative hip-hop band - Black Eyed Peas will be performing at Bangalore’s Palace grounds on October 16, being part of ‘Black Blue and You World Tour 2007’.
It feels good to be able to help the youth because at one point in time we were teenagers that loved getting involved with the arts and there wasn’t really that many programs in East L.A., where I’m from.
