According to the news, Desperate Housewives’ creator would love to bring Robbie Williams and David Beckham to play gay couple in the series. Marc Cherry is inviting Beckham and Williams to play a gay couple who move into Wisteria Lane. The Celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham came to conquer the US last month, this will be a good chance for David to show he does have a sense of humour. The soccer recently turned down a guest appearance on The Simpsons to appear as himself in The Simpsons, because he is still bitter over an episode that poked fun at his alleged affair with Rebecca Loos, three years ago.
David and Robbie are perfect to star as a gorgeous, eccentric couple flown over from Blighty. They’re both funny, game for a laugh and ridiculously macho, so it should work wonderfully – the English are pitch-perfect at sending themselves up.
