Paris Hilton and Zeta Graff defamation reached a settlement

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton and diamond heiress-actress Zeta Graff’s $10 million defamation lawsuit reached yesterday a settlement which was obviously not revealed to the media, according to a statement released by Graff’s attorney, Bruce Broillet. The reason for the trail which was set to start Monday, was because Zeta Graff claimed that Paris Hilton spread “vicious lies” about her to the media in 2005. The paper reported that Graff — who once dated Hilton’s ex-fiance Paris Latsis — tried to strangle Hilton and attempted to steal her diamond necklace. At that time Graff denied the report and claimed that Hilton threaten her “I’m going to destroy you” after trying to eliminate her from the club.

Although Paris Hilton denied that she was behind the report, former Hilton publicist Rob Shuter declared that she asked him to help plant the false story written by Paris herself. As you can see it was in Paris best interest to end the lawsuit. Think about it, if she new she would have a small chance to win the suit with Zeta Graff she wouldn’t have stepped back.
