Following Paris Hilton jail “vacation”, Nicole Richie who has been charged with DUI twice in the last four years, has been sentenced to four days in jail. Nicole’ way of paying her dues and taking responsibility as an adult helped her to stay only 82 minutes yesterday in jail. Reports claim that due to overcrowding, Richie who is five months pregnant, was released in short time after she was put in jail, from 3:15 pm at 4:37pm yesterday. In other Celebrity news, reports say that Nicole Richie has postponed her wedding with beau Joel Madden till after the birth of their first child. A friend of Richie revealed she doesn’t want for her and for her baby to think that they “rushed to get married because she got pregnant”.

Miss Richie was cooperative during the process, treated in the same manner as other inmates with a similar sentence.
