Madonna and Malawi boy

One year ago Madonna offered to an one-year-old Malawi boy, named Davie Banda, a family despite rumors that the singer wants an African baby as a celebrity status symbol, like Angelina Jolie. However till today, the singer still has problems due to the way she handled the adoption process. As a result to that, Penstone Kilembe, an official appointed by a Malawi court will assess whether Madonna and her husband would be suitable parents for Davie after a visit to the Celebrity couple in Britain’ home next month.

Meanwhile, earlier this month the Malawian minister of women and child development refused to grant Kilembe permission to travel to Britain. A Malawi newspaper report, which was denied by Kilembe, said he was prevented from traveling to Britain because he had accepted a plane ticket and money from Madonna without government approval.

There has been a change of mind by my government minister and she has allowed me to leave for the UK on September 4 and I am expected to spend two weeks.
