Madonna

According to the news, the Celebrity Pop-Diva Madonna has vowed to be environmentally responsible after facing criticism due to a report of Fox News which slammed her for investing a substantial amount of money in “several companies named as the biggest corporate polluters in the world.” The report reveals her charity, the Ray of Light Foundation, reportedly has $4.2 million of shares in a string of companies, including Alcoa, the Ford Motor Company and Weyerhaeuser (an international forest products company) all being criticized by environmentalists. Madonna tried to defended her position at Live Earth (an event was aiming to promote green issues) with a special performance on Saturday.

In other Celebrity news, according to US TV presenters who were invited to interview Madonna at Live Earth were shocked to receive a list of strict rules, like they can’t loose eye contact with her at any point because that would make the pop diva unhappy, “never look down to check notes” and “all questions must be memorized or the interview will be terminated.”

Madonna’s agreement to sing at the Live Earth event is merely one of the first steps in her commitment to being environmentally responsible. She is educating herself and her family and has begun to make changes around her that reflect her awareness and concern for the future of the planet.
