According to Britain’s Heart radio station news, Kim Cattrall who played Samantha Jones in the hit US TV series Sex and the City, is “flattered” with the public demand for a ‘Sex and the City’ movie and is looking forward to reprising her role. Taking about the movie, Kim admitted she was unsure about making a film version because she was worried the script would not live up to expectations. It was revealed recently that the ‘Sex and the City’ movie will begin shooting in September with a release date set for next year.

I’m really am so flattered because I feel that people actually do miss the show and the characters. I thought the series really ended so well and to re-open it would have to be a great script. As with any project that you do it really starts and ends with the script, you’ve got to ask the questions, ‘Who are the characters? Where will they go? What will their journey be? Will people be interested?’
