According to the reports, Hip-Hop Celebrities Kanye West and 50 Cent, would drop albums on the same day as they both sees it as a challenge to be #1 on the sales chart. Kanye’s Graduation album will be released on September 11, as 50 Cent’s new record, Curtis. Speaking about the double release, 50 said at the showdown on WQHT/New York recently, “I’m coming September 11. If Kanye comes that day, he comes that day. That’ll be great. I think his people are smart, I think he’s smart too. I think they’ll move [their release date]. But I’m coming September 11.”

On the other side, Kanye won’t step back revealing to MTV News: “the date, Graduation, September 11, we ain’t moving.” Actually Kanye says the competition is good and he would rather come out on the same day against 50 so people can talk about it. Aiming the music history Kanye prefers to be #2 on that day rather than come out and be #1 on a day nobody cares about. As for his upcoming album, Kanye West believe he can take home that Album of the Year award at the Grammys and even Song of the Year at the same ceremony.
