According to the news, the Hip-Hop star 50 Cent needs more inspiration for his upcoming album and decided that the best place in the world for doing that is his grandma’s house in Queens, New York. 50 Cent had a hard youth and he want to use that in a best constructive way, through lyrics and music. 50 Cent said that though his lifestyle is now different, he still feels the need to return `home’… with other words this past is a present mark in his life. The upcoming album, reportedly called ‘Curtis,’ is due out in September 4. In other Celebrity news, Hip-Hop star 50 Cent was spotted recently miming the lyrics to Amusement Park over an instrumental version of the track mistakenly played by his Dj Whoo Kidd at the B.E.T. Awards.
I wrote and recorded lyrics for this album at my grandmother’s house again. I went back in the basement, where you have to bend down, the ceiling is so low, where I wrote (hit album) Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. Being in that environment helped me remember things… I’m not actually in that lifestyle; it’s not surrounding me as much as it did prior to Get Rich.
