According to the news, talk-show host Oprah Winfrey decided that is time to have her own store. Oprah’s 4,500-square-foot store building it’s under construction close to Chicago’s Harpo Studios where she films her TV show. No other details were revealed except that the store’s merchandise would be similar to those from the Oprah Boutique on website. In other Celebrity news, Oprah recently topped Forbes magazine’s 2007 Most Powerful Celebrity list, with a net worth of at least $1.5 billion from her TV show, production company and magazine. Fortunately that’s not all, Oprah is one of the most generous celebrity philanthropist, donating more than $50 million of her fortune to charity last year alone.

She is a wonderful person, I met her a year ago and she was very kind and approachable. She was out in Chicago with friends and took the time to talk to us all and was very thoughtful to a young fan that was idolized.
