According to the news, singer and actress Jessica Simpson to launch a signature fragrance after she signed a global licensing agreement with perfume and beauty products maker Parlux Fragrances Inc.. The yet-to-be-named fragrance line will debut in July 2008 in the U.S. and internationally after that. Simpson has her own shoe, clothing and hair accessories line and previously was the face for Dessert Beauty’s edible cosmetics collection and recently she is planning launch swimwear line that will debut next month during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami Beach, Florida.
Parlux Fragrances, Inc. also holds the licenses to manufacture and distribute the fragrance brands of celebrities like Perry Ellis, Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick, babyGund, Paris Hilton and Fred Hayman Beverly Hills.

I wanted to partner with a company that would be able to express my personality through a fragrance. After meeting with Parlux, I’m extremely excited to start the development process with them.
