According to the news Queen Latifah revealed to show host Ellen Degeneresis that she is keen to adopt an American child. Apparently Queen Latifah will be the next celebrity in line for helping “a kid” – this time – “from the hood”, unlike Hollywood Celebrity Angelina Jolie and Madonna who have adopted from foreign countries. As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the rapper-turned-actress wants to adopt many children more exactly 18 – both natural and adopted – once she gets her foster parent permit! Anyway, the main idea is to adopt a child because you feel it’s the right thing to do, it doesn’t matter what country he is from.
I want to help a kid in the hood. I want to adopt an American baby. There’s just so many kids that could use a home. I’m filling out the paperwork to be, like, a foster parent, so maybe sometimes I can kinda just help out in that way – just when they need, like, an emergency placement and I happen to be home. I wanna adopt an American baby… just because there are so many kids here that need our help.
