According to the news, Angelina Jolie’s mother former actress Marcheline Bertrand, died Saturday in Los Angeles hospital of cancer at the age of 56. Eonline.com reported that Angelina Jolie’s brother – actor/filmmaker James Haven – and her boyfriend future husband Brad Pitt were with her when she died, Eonline.com said. A private funeral was planned and donations were asked for Women’s Cancer Research Institute at Cedars-Sinai. Daughter of Oscar winning actor Jon Voight and actress Marcheline Bertrand, Angelina Jolie Voight was very closed to her mother while on the other side she doesn’t talk and is not considering on recommunicating with her estranged father. Angelina used her middle name as her last name (French translation of beautiful), probably in order to succeed independently.

A source told Us Weekly that “everybody cried. Marcheline told Angelina and Brad that she loved them.. and approved of their relationship completely.” while a second source told Star magazine that Angelina Jolie’s mother told her daughter that her dying wish was for her to marry Brad Pitt.
