According to voice-online.co.uk, R&B Celebrity Alicia Keys has praised Hollywood star Angelina Jolie and Madonna for raising awareness for millions of refugees across Africa and for adopting African children. The singer said that celebrities - like Angelina and Madonna - who are turning their attention to help Africa donating money or adopting babies shouldn’t be criticized or questioned. Alicia Keys has been involved in African causes for years with Keep a Child Alive, a charity foundation that helps people living with HIV/Aids in Africa. In other Celebrity news, Alicia Keys has announced the re-launch of her new official website and fan club AliciaKeys.com, where fans can find Alicia Keys Book Club and Alicia Keys audio blog.

I think it’s horrible, and I think it really degrades and tries to discourage people who do have a voice, who do have power, who do have money, who have the ability to reach out to people and get involved in situations. I think if you make a choice to do something positive, that shouldn’t be diminished. I think that takes away from what’s actually going on.
