Pop/R&B Celebrity Justin Timberlake – who was hosting the MTV European Music Awards in Copenhagen, Denmark, on November 02 – shined at ceremony taking home one of the top honors at the MTV Europe music awards. Justin performed his singles “Sexyback” and “My Love” at the event and was named best male singer and also took home the best pop award. Gnarls Barkley received the best song award for download sensation “Crazy” as well as the future sounds award voted for by the artist community.
The event was broadcast live around the world featuring such acts as R&B Celebrity Rihanna, ( who took the R&B prize ) P Diddy, Keane West, Muse and the Killers ( who were voted best rock band ). Madonna got nothing while one of the best voice ever Christina Aguilera was named best female singer andĂ‚ Depeche Mode were named best group. Continuing the list Red Hot Chili Peppers took the best album award for ‘Stadium Arcadium,’ while Hip-Hop star Kanye West (who announced that his loss in the Best Video category was a mistake because his video Touch the Sky” costed him “millions of dollars”) was voted best hip hop act.
