According to an interview of Matt Damon to Details Magazine, the Hollywood actor is a happily married father and as for his acting career he intents to be very selective with his roles in the future. In the Details interview, Matt revealed after he worked very hard in time to portray a very polite and boring person but as for the last few years he intentionally refused media interviews for giving him and the public a break, turning down even a cover for “Rolling Stone”. In his personal life Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary on December 9 and the actor couldn’t be happier!

I’ve worked very hard in interviews to portray a very polite and boring person. I’m actively trying to get away from the overexposure that happened eight years ago. [...] Harvey Weinstein came to the set of ‘Rounders’ and was yelling at me, going, ‘What’s wrong with you? Did you ever think you’d be on the cover of Rolling Stone?’ And I said ‘Sure, I dreamed about it when I was a kid, but I’m already on the cover of nine other magazines. My own grandmother told me she’s sick of seeing me. I can’t do this anymore.’
