According to court documents obtained Tuesday, posted by TMZ, the Pop Celebrity Britney Spears has field for divorce Monday from her husband, wannabe-rapper Kevin Federline citing irreconcilable differences. In the divorce papers, which do not mention a prenuptial agreement, Britney Spears asks for custody of the Celebrity couple’s two children (one-year-old son, Sean Preston and the recent born Jayden James) of course with visitation rights for Federline.Ă‚ The divorce papers were filed the day after Britney Spears made a surprise appearance on Late Night With David Letterman; apparenlty Britney was not wearing her wedding ring.
Meanwhile, a Los Angeles judge has thrown out Spears’ US $10 million lawsuit against Us Weekly, saying the pop star cannot be defamed by published rumours that she and Federline had made a sex tape and were worried about its release. The reason was that Britney Spears has “put her modern sexuality squarely, and profitably, before the public eye” and it would be unlikely for anyone to defame her character.
