Victoria Beckham launched her new fashion book “That Extra Half An Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything In Between” at London’s Selfridges store yesterday. The crowd gathered to get their fashion book signed by Victoria Beckham who arrived for the signing wearing a Giambatista Valli dress. At the event the pop singer turned fashion designer was asked about recent rumors that David Beckham was to be knighted in the New Year and she has confessed she hopes the recent rumors turn out to be true.
That Extra Half An Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything In Between is “a revealing and practical book on fashion, beauty and style” and is rumored to become a bestseller, because British women sees Victoria Beckham as the ultimate style icon. Has anyone started reading or read this book yet?
Would be good to get an independent review of it.
I have bought bk – returned it next day 4 a refund. Has advice but u will lk like a VB clone – rather than drawing inspiration to create your own look. She offers personal opinions that are just that. Some practical advice but in general most of it I knew myself already and I’m no fashion expert. Give her credit – she knows her fans & what they will buy. She has to milk her ‘fame’ while she can – DB will retire in a few years. She tells blatant lies eg “I don’t have a red carpet pose”, ” I draw inspiration from Audrey Hepburn”. 2 many blatant plugs for her products and her favourite designers – obviously subletly isn’t one of her strong points. Tries to appear down to earth but ultimately comes across as self absorbed.
Oh dear me….. just what we all need…… more Victoria…..VOMIT.
Bush goes ballistic about other countries being evil and dangerous, because they have weapons of mass destruction. But, he insists on building up even a more deadly supply of nuclear arms right here in the US. What do you think? Is killing thousands of innocent civilians okay when you are doing a little government makeover?
Our country is in debt until forever, we don’t have jobs, and we live in fear. We have invaded a country and been responsible for thousands of deaths.
We have lost friends and influenced no one. No wonder most of the world thinks we suck. Thanks to what george bush has done to our country during the past three years, we do!
