The multi-million selling rapper from the West Coast of the US, The Game has confirmed his romance with the R&B singer/actress Mya was doomed from the start because both he and Mya are celebrities. They became close when the R&B Celebrity Mya (who he’ll always be fond of) played the rap star’s lover in his Dreams video last year. The pair briefly dated, amid false claims from The Game’s rap rival 50 Cent that he bedded Mya. Since splitting from Mya, The Game – Jayceon Taylor – proposed to Valeisha Butterfield earlier this year and the rapper since called off the engagement.
Meanwhile, The Game – who is returning with his most controversial album ever, Doctor’s Advocate which is due to be released in the US on November 14 – is planning to retire from music in five years and settle down. In other Celebrity/Music news, the R&B singer Mya fourth album, Liberation is due to hit stores on November 14.
That s**t (dating a celebrity) has got its ups and downs. The up is you kinda feel hot, the JAY-Z and BEYONCE thing. The downside is that you don’t get to spend as much time with double celebrity s**t. “Then there’s the thing that be switching up – you take my girlfriend now, I’ll take your boyfriend… so I’m pretty much done at this point. I’ll keep a regular b**ch. “But we still cool. We’re good friends.”
