According to the news, Sugababes singer Heidi Range has slammed super-skinny celebrities for their “unrealistic” bodies. The Pop Celebrity blames the Hollywood beauties for the ‘size zero’. More and more teenage girls have eating disorders because of that. This week’s People’s cover story explores the controversial topic about the increasing pressure to be thin and how the fashion world and Hollywood have contributed to, this growing problem.
In other celebrity news, the pop band Sugababes want to help TV presenter Richard Hammond ( who was hospitalized with brain injuries in a car accident ) to recover by making him a private performance.
This whole size zero thing really upsets me. I was at a hospital the other week and a lady came over and asked for an autograph for her 13-year-old daughter who was in a clinic with anorexia. It is so unrealistic. There are going to be loads of young girls now trying to get to a size zero like all these Hollywood stars. It upsets me.

skinny celebrities like Keira, Nicole, Lindsay etc are NOT role models -> for those teenage girls who want to be like them.
Who needs celebrity models who don’t have time to eat!!!
A lot of skinny celebrities have eating disorders… I doubt they want to be role models (a lot, not all). It’s a shame all around.
