The rapper Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, has been arrested on suspicion of illegal drug and gun possession on Oct. 26 at Bob Hope Airport, when police officers stopped him at a loading zone for vehicle code violation and found a gun and marijuana, reports the Associated Press. The Hip-Hop/Rap Celebrity Snoop Dogg posted $35,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 12. Although the charges are more than clear, Snoop’s attorney believes there was no basis for Snoop’s arrest and that all charges will be dismissed. In other Celebrity/Music news, Rapper Snoop Dogg has teamed up with legendary Hip-Hop producer Dr Dre on his forthcoming album “The Blue Carpet Treatment”.
