What does she think these countries are the shaperones of the underprivalaged?? Asylum seekers or not, they are not the UK, Australia or even America’s problem until they REACH that particular country’s territory. She’s not a politician she an actress that’s all. She is also not the only one donating money to poor countries or poor people and she is not the only person using their celebrity for good.
Angelina can speak for America, perhaps, she is American but not for other countries. Australia might not have the best asylum seeker policies I will agree but we send out our patrol boats as soon as there is reports of boatloads of people coming in. Not to chase them off but to rescue them from the leaky boats they usually end up in. Our prime minister might be an idiot but our immigration policy is not as bad as it could be, our parliment after all only a few months ago moved against the prime minister to block a move that would ship all detainees offshore.
Just because countries like Australia do not donate billions to African countries does not mean we are not helping the disadvantaged… most of it just happens to be in our region of the world. The south pacific. Sorry angie Darrrrrrrrling if it dosn’t meet your standards.
People all over the world donate just as much and more of their wages then she does no matter if they earn more or in most cases Less than she does yet you don’t see us all over the news everyday critising countries she has nothing to do with and isn’t interested in because they are not poor. You can’t fix the worlds problems without your problems being fixed first… put a little focus on American homless people for once lady!
