According to the news, model-turned-R&B singer Cassie quit her modeling career after she was told to lose weight. As Cassie tell it she was furious when fashion bosses told her she must lose some weight in order to have a successful catwalk career. Obviously R&B star didn’t agree with their decision an drop modelling for a career in music, the ironic part is that soon after she did lose a lot of weight.
The funny thing about it was that towards the end of the modelling thing I was told that I needed to lose weight, and it really brought me down. I was just like: ‘Whatever, I’ve got bigger and better things to do.’ And the ironic thing is, since I stopped that and started the singing, I actually lost the weight just through being so busy.
