According to the Mirror, British Celebrity Robbie Williams is being treated for depression. It seems that Robbie has visited The Priory clinic in South West London for sessions with top doctor Mark Collins after struggling to cope during his world tour. Robbie Williams recently decided to cancel the Asian tour with officials stating that he was suffering from “stress and exhaustion” as the reason he cannot complete the tour. Pop singer Robbie Williams has canceled a number of dates on his current tour and over the weekend he was canceling his dates in South East Asia and India as he needed to take a substantial break to recover before undertaking any further work.
A statement posted on the singer’s official website said: “Despite the unprecedented success of the Close Encounters Tour, which has seen Robbie perform to sell-out stadiums across Europe to over 2.5million people, it has clearly been an exhaustive tour to undertake.”

He has everything he could ever want, yet he’s depressed… Makes you think. PRAY ROBBIE!!!!! That’s all you need.
Thinking of you.
After reading articles about celebs you have to first determine whether they are credible enough to believe. Notice the Question Mark after the headline.. and then the article states the reason for the cancelled dates is due to exhaustion. I’m not sure how exhaustion equals depression.
If you look at his tour schedule can see why he’d be exhausted. There has not been any evidence presented to suggest depression.
On that note… Depression? Everyone gets depressed, so what!!!
It’s the level of depression that has to be monitored. I don’t know RW, but hear that he is clean of drugs& alcohol (which contribute and perpetuate depression), so I won’t believe a headline such as this one.
Maybe it’s not depression but a feeling that something is missing.. I don’t consider myself depressed, but I strive to be in a loving relationship with someone I can live with and can live with me, someone who understands me and someone whom I understand.. So sad for not finding that yet…. Yes.. but depressed ? no. Exhausted from work and volunteering..and stress..?..yes.. depressed.?. NO.
There is a difference.
Lori W you should read more carefully.
The article informs you that according to the Mirror, Robbie Williams is being treated for depression, although officials stated that Robbie was suffering from “stress and exhaustion” as the reason he cannot complete the tour. True or not.
The article doesn’t say that depression equals stress and exhaustion!
Depression is a mental state characterized by feelings of sadness, despair and discouragement. Depression ranges FROM normal feelings of sadness TO major depression. It in many ways resembles the grief, often feelings of low self esteem, guilt and self reproach, loss of interest or pleasure in nearly all things or physical symptoms such as eating and sleep disturbances.
Whatever the problem is, keep going Robbie and remember how loved you are by millions, you’re a natural a born entertainer and a true star, good luck mate!
Good luck to you Robbie, at least you’re recognizing that you’re having a problem, trying to fix it and not just pressing on to save face! There are more people than you’d care to imagine out there suffering from depression, and thanks to the social stigma attached to it, are too afraid to get help. We don’t choose depression it’s very different than a bad/sad mood or feeling blue for a day!
Depression is an entity unto itself. It has little to do with how good your life is or what you have. Exhaustion, as well, can accompany depression and contribute to it. Often exhaustions is a symptom of depression, just as its opposite, insomnia, is. I have slept around the clock and other times been unable to sleep for days. The hardest person to admit depression to is yourself. Take care Robbie. I’ve been there and back a few times. It’s a tough battle but ultimately worth it.
You can have everything you want and you`ll be still depressed. A person who is in depression don`t care about what he has but what he hasn`t got and even if you have money but you don`t have love and real friendship you can feel horrible. Only when you will find what you need you will be happy. In my opinion clinic can NOT help …
Robbie does have money and he does have everything physially.. but what about emotionally?? he has my love and supporrt and i think it is terrifc that he has taken himsel into a clinic, he needs to find what it is that he is missing and the time he spwnds away in that clinic can help him re discover what it is that he is lookig for… to all you haters, i wish you the worst… he doesnt deserve the pain that you ae enhancing on him and you are just making it worse on him… robbie has millions of lving and caring fans and if you are going to criiscise him and not like him thats fie.. but keep it to yoursrlf brcause he doesnt deserve any of it.. he is a born entertainer and he needs love!! I LOVE YOU ROBBIE!!
very interesting, but I don’t agree with you
