I run into something interesting on Billboard site as they went behind the scenes at MTV Video Music Awards in New York to get the latest news from R&B Celebrities like Ne-Yo, Mario, and many more. That being said R&B vocalist Ne-Yo is already starting work on his as-yet-untitled album revealing that he and the label are eyeing the sensual ballad “Mirror” as his potential next single. The new R&B album will follow this year’s “In My Own Words”, which debuted on top The Billboard 200 and has sold 1.2 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

I started on the album like four days ago. I’m literally two, maybe three songs in and looking for a direction. I don’t even know what it’s going to sound like yet.

Meanwhile, R&B Celebrity Mario is in the studio for his third album, which is due November 28 via J. The album is titled “Mario Barrett – Effortless,” after the singer’s full name. Mario says his first single will be “How Do I Breathe” while guest collaborators include celebrities like Nelly, Alicia Keys, Akon, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Scott Storch and the Neptunes. This album, which “is much more musical, melodic”, will follow his 2004′s “Turning Point,” which sold 1.2 million copies.
