According to the news, UK Pop Celebrity Jamelia called Beyonce’s new album ‘B-Day’ good but not great. Jamelia released her new album ‘Walk With Me’ recently and revealed to the the Daily Star, she wasn’t impressed at all by the latest effort from the former Destiny’s Child singer Beyonce Knowles criticizing also the album’s cover art. However though the album was made in two weeks, I might say that it’s not bad at all. At some point before the “Listen” track Beyonce says this album came effortlessly after she finished film of her life Dreamgirls, which is the main inspiration of her album. Beside the well known hits Deja Vu or Ring the Alarm, other great songs from the album are Irreplaceable, Suga Mama or Kitty Kat. Could she have done it better? Perhaps she could.. who knows?
I heard Beyonce recorded B-Day in two weeks. When you write an album you need to take breaks to re-connect with your self. I’d have liked it if shed have been more adventurous. I like the single, I do think the album is good. It’s just not great. I don’t think the alligators were a good idea. It was cruel.
