According to the UK news, Hip-Hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been forced to give up the ‘Diddy’ from his name – at least in the UK – following the High Court settlement after being sued by a UK music producer also called Diddy. British DJ Richard ‘diddy’ Dearlove – who has been using the moniker for over 10 years and made a name for himself with his remixes of classic songs, has revealed that he suffered a lot since Sean Combs chanced his name to P Diddy. It’s true that the singer has been going through an identity crisis for years. Combs, who has changed his name from “Sean Combs,” “Puff Diddy Combs,” “P Diddy,” “Diddy” will reportedly pay $182,000 court costs and $18,000 in damages. However, will Combs return to one of the old names for UK or will bring up a new one?

I suffered from a head injury in 2001, when Sean Combs changed his name to P Diddy. I lost my sight for three years and couldn’t work. I was all ready to go last year, then, in August, he changed his name to Diddy. I was gutted. I started getting emails from Puerto Rican girls asking if they could be in my video and people were asking me to look at their clothing line.
