According to the news, Hip-Hop Celebrity 50 Cent wants to record a duet with Sir Elton John. Apparently 50 Cent is a huge fan of the singer and they supposed to collaborate shortly after Elton’s performance with Hip-Hop/Rapper friend Eminem at the 2001 Grammy Awards. However, though the collaboration never took place, 50 Cent insists he still keen to work with Elton.

The Hip-Hop star’s wishes were revealed shortly after Elton John said he is desperate to record a hip-hop album and wants to collaborate with a host of rap artists on his latest album. The sad part (if there is one) is that Elton revealed some names of top stars he wants to work with, including Kanye West and Pharrell Williams but failed to mention 50′s name. A small detail, indeed..

I want to work with Pharrell, Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, Kanye and Eminem and see what happens. It may be a disaster, it may be fantastic but you don’t know until you try. I want to bring my songs and melodies to hip-hop beats.

In other celebrity news, the celebrity 50 Cent ( who is being sued over an 2004 incident in Springfield, Massachusetts by tow women ) was among the nominees for the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards, a ceremony which took place last night, for the category Best Rap Video with “Window Shopper”, unfortunately for him Chamillionaire – “Ridin’” was the winner.
