According to the news, Charlotte Church was surprised to find out that in order to have Paris Hilton as a guest on her debut TV show – which started this Friday on Channel 4 – supposed to pay Ă‚Ł350,000 as American socialite demanded. Charlotte told Britain’s Radio 1 that Paris wanted the “obscene” amount to be interviewed. It seems Charlotte thought it would by funny to make fun out of her because Paris is such an airhead but not for a ridiculous amount of money. It’s pathetic, indeed. As for her TV show the singer also revealed that she would be singing the theme song to the show every week, and that one of the verses will be changed every week.

It’s not just a chat show. There will be a band on every show as well as a comedian and there will be comedy sketches too. I’m really looking forward to doing it. I thought it would be nice to have a break from singing, but I never realised how much hard work it would be. When you’re recording you have to spend so much time doing promotional work it can be really tiring so I thought this would be easier. But I was so wrong. I’ve been working like a donkey.
