According to People, singer Aaron Carter is engaged to Playboy Playmate Kari Ann Peniche. At only 18 years old Carter popped the question to Peniche (who previously dated Aaron’s big brother Nick Carter) on Saturday in Las Vegas while they were onstage in front of 200 people during the Playboy Comedy Tour at the Palms Casino Resort. Apparently the bride-to-be had no idea about what was going on, the the surprise proposal, but she is very happy and glad it happen.

I am very skeptic about this engagement. Apparently the couple plan to wed in the next six months. Peniche was named Miss Teen USA in 2003, and after she posed for Playboy. In other Celebrity new, Aaron Carter is set to appear on an E! reality show about his family, House of Carters, premiering next month.
