According to the news, the rapper Busta Rhymes has been arrested for assaulting a man after performing at the Heineken AmsterJam Festival. New York Daily News reports that Busta Rhymes was taken into custody with two members of his entourage as they attempted to leave Randalls Island in New York where the show was being held. Rhymes allegedly attacked a man for spitting on his car. He was charged with assault in New York and is due back in court on October 24.
The police apparently took the opportunity to question Rhymes about another incident that hit the headlines earlier this year in February, when his bodyguard Israel Ramirez was murdered while on the set for the rapper’s music video.
