According to the news, Hip-Hop Celebrity Kanye West can’t believe his best video from his point of view Touch the Sky wasn’t even nominated. Although Kanye West is nominated for best pop video at MTV Video Music Awards for “Gold Digger,” the Hip-Hop Celebrity revealed he doesn’t see his videos as a way to boost his sales. Kanye actually pointed that even though “Touch the Sky” – featuring Pamela Anderson – was his favorite video, though the song was not a huge hit. I must admit that Kanye is right but even so the situation is not that bad, he has “Gold Digger” nominated for best male video and best hip-hop video. Kanye West has my appreciation, the ‘hip-hop genius’ knows how to play the industry. ‘Touch the Sky’ is the fourth single from Late Registration and the only track on that album not produced by West himself.
It didn’t get any nominations, but it’s one of the most memorable videos of the year for me,”I’m not trying to be No. 1; I’m trying to make something that lasts forever, something that’s really memorable.
