Almost two weeks ago on July 15, the young celebrity couple Avril Lavigne and Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley got married on a Saturday afternoon at a private estate in Montecito, Calif., according to People. Avril and Deryck have been together for two years, and became engaged in Venice, Italy, in June 2005. In front of 110 guests, including family and friends from their native Ontario, Avril Lavigne wore a Vera Wang gown and carried a bouquet of white roses. In contrast to the all-white ceremony, the reception had a red theme, with red roses and other flowers.
For those who want to know more about Avril’s work schedule, beside preparing for the wedding the singer was also busy giving voice to a possum in the animated film Over the Hedge and with a third album in the works.

At first, I felt shocked coz I never expected to her to marry at this point of time…you know, she’s still at the peak of her career and she was married… actually I’m a big fan of her so like any other fans have felt when we knew about the news, we just felt suprised…but I now I’ve tried to accept that she’s also a human,and that she can do what she wants to do…after all, I’m still here to give my all and I’ll support her till forever…

Wow I was really shocked and I was so happy I love avril lavigne and deryck whibley so much and i love there music I was so happy to see her getting married I almost pictured myself at this wedding and then I turn around and she’s married my dad and I went at 2 in the morning to get the mag. to see her pics but we ended up going later in the day. OMGSH!!!…I just recently relized that Avril is my musical idol. I don’t mean that in a weird way, I just really like her music and what it focus’s on. Anyway, I think that it is great that she found someone that she can spend the rest of her life with!
