Gold-medal-winning gymnasts Nadia Comaneci and and gold medals winner at the 1984 Olympics, Bart Conner welcomed their first child, son Dylan Paul, on Saturday. Nadia Comaneci, a native of Romania – who is the first Olympic gymnast to score a perfect 10 and to have ever won the European championship three times – actually gave birth one month erlier through a cesarean section.
The child is the first for Nadia and Bart, who said that he chose the name Dylan because Bob Dylan is his favorite singer and Paul in honor of Paul Ziert, the couple’s manager. The celebrity couple, who got married on April 27, 1996, co-own the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Norman, Okla.
