According to the news, a spokeswoman for Fox Searchlight revealed the sex scene featuring Katie Holmes, which was cut from the Sundance Festival premier of Thank You For Smoking, will be included in the released version. This announcement came after the scene had been cut from the film’s premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, fueling rumours that Tom Cruise had requested its removal because it goes against his strict Scientology beliefs, of decency and integrity. However before the Film Festival the sex scene appear in the version shown at last year’s Toronto Film Festival. In the movie – Thank You For Smoking – Katie Holmes, an investigative reporter, had filmed a sex scene with Aaron Eckhart’s tobacco lobbyist.
