According to the news, singer Debra Laws lost the court appeal in San Francisco Wednesday against Sony Music Entertainment Inc. the two celebrities Jennifer Lopez and LL Cool J for the similarities of her voice and her name in the best-selling song “All I Have”. It seems that the woman claimed in the suit that Jennifer Lopez’s recording of “All I Have” unfairly used samples of Laws’ song “Very Special.” The samples included a 10-second segment at the beginning of pop celebrity’s song and shorter segments repeated in the background.
In other celebrity news, Jennifer Lopez is reportedly pregnant with her first baby but if she would be, then Jennifer won’t be able to produced MTV reality series “Moves” => eight-episode series, which is scheduled to premiere this winter.
