James Blunt music banned by a radio station

James Blunt

It seems that what is enough, is enough – a radio station in the UK Essex FM has banned James Blunt’s music from its playlist, claiming that despite his success listeners are sick of James overplayed hits. Last week at Ivor Novello Awards, James Blunt was in the spotlight receiving two awards for International Hit of the Year and Most Performed Work for his single ‘You’re Beautiful’.

Accepting the award James Blunt said “I should probably be rude about it before anyone else is, so thank you very much for the Most Overplayed Song award,” which tells me that maybe he is taking it to personal. I mean, sometimes you are just sick to listen over an over a song, and his songs aren’t really ‘a joy’.

We don’t have anything against James Blunt and we’re pleased he has been so successful, but we really need a break.
