According to the news, Sean “Diddy” Combs has finally reached a settlement with a limousine driver Cedrick Bobby Lemon, who claimed he was punched in the head, by Diddy’ bodyguards after a concert in Winston-Salem 1995, suffering a broken right wrist.
Although the details of the settlement were not released to the public, the history goes like this: Mr. Lemon said he was in a backstage area of the Joel Coliseum during a Mary J. Blige concert in June of 1995 – when he was attacked – with an ID badge that allowed him to remain in the backstage area of the concert.
Lemon, who reportedly lost his job because of the incident, claimed the Hip-Hop mogul Combs failed to properly train the bodyguards and in 2002, he won a default judgment against Diddy for over $2 million, because the Hip-Hop celebrity never appeared in court. It was reported that the amount was reduced to $450,000 in 2003 until a judge over turned the decision in June of 2004.
In other celebrity news, the Hip-Hop star’s child support appeal was denied by court.
