According to People news, Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe have decided to divorce. Oscar-winning actress and her husband of eight years failed to reconcile after separating ( last year ), so there is one option, divorce. According to the couple’s lawyer Jeffrey Bernstein, Hilary and Chad will continue to be friends and have the utmost respect for one another.

Hilary Swank won Oscars for her performances in ‘Million Dollar Baby’ and ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, while Lowe won an Emmy in 1993 for his portrayal of AIDS sufferer Jesse McKenna in the television show ‘Life Goes On’. In other celebrity news, Hilary Swank accepted to star in the movie ‘P.S. I Love You’.
