The actress Queen Latifah wants to adopt, to be a mum who wants to give a child a better start in life. Latifah, who voices the character of Ellie in new animated film ‘Ice Age 2: The Meltdown’, is determined to adopt by next year as she cleared my schedule for adoption.
Latifah is not the only star hoping to adopt, the pop celebrity Jessica Simpson has also recently revealed her plans to adopt inspired by Angelina Jolie.

I saw Queen Latifa on the sunday moring show last week she said some thing about her brother I wanted to comment on.
When we love someone and they go to heaven then we become more “successful” it seams as if that was the plan to help us get things we want but. If you are a person with a love of others it maybe that the plan turns so that your success helps others in ways you can not know til later and that the one you Love is just helping you still. be well
May God go with you as you go with God. Virginia ps. my son was killed in march God bless
While “channel surfing” this weekend, my husband and I came upon “Last Holiday” with Queen Latifah. EXCELLENT movie! I have admired her for a long time, although I didn’t know very much about her. Regarding her desire to adopt a baby, I think it’s a wonderful idea! There are so many children out there who thrive and excel who have a loving mother behind the scenes supporting them all the way. A mother’s voice, a mother’s touch, a mother’s encouragement…all of these and more go into forming and shaping a wonderful little child, and they can’t be replaced with a “system.” Sure, mamma has to get onto them sometimes, but that’s a part of raising a responsible child. I have a special love for adoptive parents. A good, single friend of mine adopted a baby who was born
with a heroin addiction because the mother used drugs. This friend (Lorie), nursed this baby back to health, took her to all kinds of doctor’s appointments, etc. Her daughter, Angelina, is now 2 1/2 yrs. old and doing GREAT! She’s a little feisty sometimes, but there is no doubt that Lorie and Angelina love each other SO much!!!! They will have a great life together, and Lorie is considering adopting a small baby with Down’s Syndrome now. We hope the adoption will go through! We love and admire adoptive parents. Queen Latifah, all the best to you!
I think Latifah should play Pearl Bailey in a biopic.
I think Queen is the most beautiful woman. She appeared tonight on Jay Leno and she was absolutely radiant. I just love her. I wish her well and the happiest New Year. You go girl!!!
